The Fifth Tuesday
In the 14th chapter of Tuesdays with Morrie entitled “The Fifth Tuesday: We Talk About Family”, Morrie tells Albom about family and how important it is. Morrie tells Albom that without family is like a butterfly without its wings. Morrie says that if he hadn’t had a wife and two kids, if he were divorced or unmarried, he would not be going through his death as easily, he would not have the support of his loving family. Morrie asks Albom about his brother which sends Albom into a flashback. He remembered how he made fun of his brother and his brother was always the favorite in the family although he did not do the right things. He remembers when his brother got cancer and Albom thought it was directed towards him. His brother was able to fight off the cancer and become better again.
